Melania Trump Has Great Veneers

One of Dr. Basil’s West Hartford dental patients recently asked about Melania Trump’s bright white smile.  They asked if Melania Trump has crowns or just naturally white, perfect teeth.  Could it be that Melania Trump whitens her teeth with bleaching trays or other in-office whitening solutions? By now you either love or hate her husband, but either way, one must admit she has a great smile.

Melania Trump’s teeth are very white, but not appliance white.  It’s almost certain she has veneers, because if she does not have veneers, she must frequently use professional level whitening systems.

Veneers, however, are very thin porcelain shells that cover the front face and edge of the tooth.  Porcelain veneers can come in very bright white shades.  Veneers can also resolve some minor crowding or alignment issues.  Judging by this photo and most other photos, it seems very likely that Melania Trump has veneers.

In fact, porcelain veneers are probably what you are admiring when you see your favorite celebrities on the red carpet.  People in the public eye understand the importance of a toothy white grin, and know that tooth whitening may not always do the trick, tooth whitening is the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedure in the world, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for everyone, and that is where porcelain veneers come in.

If Dr. BasilCTNow.com’s Best Dentist Hartford County, determines that you are a good fit for porcelain veneers a small amount of enamel will be removed from your teeth to make way for the veneers. Because the enamel needs to be removed, cosmetic veneers are permanent.

Once the enamel has been removed, an impression will be made so that your new veneers will look and feel natural. In some cases, you may need temporary dental veneers if your teeth are too unsightly.

When your new porcelain veneers are ready to be placed, Dr. Basil will check for fit and color before bonding into place. Your new porcelain veneers will be filed and polished to give you the smile that you deserve.

Porcelain veneers are great for:
  • Discolored teeth that cannot be helped with tooth whitening
  • Worn teeth
  • Chipped teeth
  • Broken teeth
  • Uneven teeth
  • Misaligned teeth
  • Irregularly shaped teeth
  • Gaps between teeth

Dental veneers are much more affordable than they used to be. Many of  Dr. Basil’sWest Hartford and New Britain office patients have benefited from two, four, eight, and even sixteen veneers.  When you schedule a cosmetic dentistry consultation with Dr. Basil, explain what you want to achieve and what you want your smile to look at. Bringing in a picture of your favorite smile will help as well.
